These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the tribae application and website (collectively, the "Service") operated by tribae ("we", "us", "our"). By creating an account or using the Service you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
tribae is an AI-assisted meal planning and grocery management application. It generates personalised meal plans, shopping lists, and nutrition guidance based on information you provide. The Service is intended for adults aged 16 and over.
tribae is not a medical service. All meal plans, calorie targets, and nutrition guidance are generated by AI and are for general informational purposes only. They do not constitute medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Always consult a qualified healthcare professional before making significant changes to your diet, especially if you have any medical condition, food allergy, eating disorder, or are pregnant or breastfeeding. We accept no liability for any health outcome arising from use of the Service.
You must sign in with a valid Google account. You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account. You may not share your account or use the Service on behalf of another person without their consent.
New accounts receive a 5-day free trial of tribae Pro with full access to all features. No charge is made during the trial period. A valid payment method is required to start the trial; you will be charged automatically at the end of the trial unless you cancel beforehand.
After the trial, tribae Pro is billed at $3.99 USD per month (or the local currency equivalent displayed at checkout, inclusive of any applicable VAT). Billing is monthly, charged on the same day each month as the trial end date. Prices are displayed inclusive of VAT where required by law.
Payments are processed by Stripe, Inc. By providing a payment method you authorise Stripe to charge it on a recurring basis according to your subscription. You agree to keep your payment information accurate and up to date.
If a payment fails, Stripe will retry according to its standard retry schedule. Access to Pro features may be suspended during a past-due period. If payment cannot be collected after retries, the subscription will be cancelled.
We may change the subscription price. We will give you at least 30 days' notice by email before any price change takes effect. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the new price.
You may cancel your subscription at any time via Settings → Manage subscription in the app (powered by the Stripe Customer Portal). Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period — you retain access to Pro features until then. We do not provide partial-month refunds.
Under EU consumer law (Directive 2011/83/EU), you ordinarily have a 14-day right to withdraw from a distance contract. However, because tribae Pro provides digital content that is available immediately upon subscription, by starting your trial you expressly consent to the immediate performance of the contract and acknowledge that you lose the right of withdrawal once the digital content has been made available to you. This acknowledgement is confirmed during the checkout process. This does not affect your right to cancel future billing as described in section 5.
Except where required by applicable law, subscription fees are non-refundable. If you believe you have been charged in error, contact us at [email protected] within 14 days of the charge and we will investigate.

Content generated by the Service (meal plans, shopping lists, chat responses) is produced by AI models and may contain errors, omissions, or outdated information. You are responsible for verifying any information before acting on it, particularly regarding allergens, nutritional values, and dietary suitability. We make no warranty as to the accuracy, completeness, or fitness for purpose of AI-generated content.
The Service, including its design, code, and branding, is owned by tribae and protected by intellectual property law. Content you create (meal preferences, shopping lists) remains yours. You grant us a limited licence to process and store that content solely to provide the Service.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, tribae is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of data, loss of profits, or personal injury, arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim arising under these Terms is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.
Nothing in these Terms excludes liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, fraud, or any liability that cannot be excluded by law.
We may suspend or terminate your account if you breach these Terms, with or without notice. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately. Sections 2, 9, 10, 11, and 13 survive termination.
These Terms are governed by the laws of Poland. If you are a consumer in the EU, you also benefit from the mandatory consumer protection laws of your country of residence. Disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Poland, unless mandatory consumer law provides otherwise. The European Commission provides an Online Dispute Resolution platform.
We may update these Terms. Material changes will be communicated by email or in-app notice at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use of the Service after that date constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
